Candelina

Candelina, partner of Candelo, (also named Candelaria) was a single woman, who was pregnant without a husband, so she was going to be burned alive, because this was a big disgrace for her comunity. The day she was going to be burned she was tied to a pole, and woods under her feet, she was praying to God for help, then the fire was set, but she didnīt even burn. God protected her and the innocent creature she had on her womb. The ropes burned and she was free, she didnīt burned and later she gave birth a boy child, named Candelito, totally normal. She was received at home by Candelo, since then they lived together (not exactly as husband and wife, but as a family) She, he and the little boy.
